Chianti Classico Riserva

Produced from grapes harvested in some of the Chianti Classico region’s best vineyards, the Riserva represents the very essence of local winemaking skills and is made with enormous care. Before being released for sale, Chianti Classico Riserva Poggio Morino is aged for 18 to 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels, with at least a further 3 months of ageing in the bottle.

Production area: Hills of the Chianti Classico region.

Grapes: Sangiovese 90%, Merlot 5%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%

Vinification Process: Traditional, on the skins, at controlled temperature

Ageing: 18-24 months in oak barrels and barriques 

Bottle ageing: 3 months minimum

Sensory notes: Deep red colour and warm tones, with aromas of spice and ripe fruit emphasising its strong personality. 

To accompany: grilled meats and game

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
